Isn't this more to do with the ability of the sun to burn off all this
mist and low cloud. Would have thought that given another couple of
weeks the present set-up would be much sunnier?
Nevertheless I hear what you're saying, it is annoying - and puzzling
that with the ground so dry there's still a problem with mist a low
cloud in the morning. I would have thought that

Was 1445z before I saw any sun today - sky cleared to milky haze as I
reached the Bow area on the bike - so sunshine seems to have shifted
even further west today...
