It's not all that far between High Wycombe and St James's Park, so
that's quite a contrast in temperature.
The St James Park maximum temperature on Friday was only 10.1C. The
apparent maximum of 15.0C arises because that was the temperature at
1800 GMT on Thursday evening following the warmth earlier that
afternoon.

Thanks. Presumably the High Wycombe maximum is since 9am only, as I
imagine that it would have been warmer than 7.4C at 6pm the previous
evening.
