Just watched Nick Miller on the BBC news and he certainly does seem to be stressing the models forecast of showers and thunderstorms over Mid Devon and the SW of England later this afternoon, but at the moment convection is limited with unbroken sunshine all morning here. Temperature here now 14.9°C after a frost this morning -0.6°C

It may be right but it does look rather pessimistic with limited convection and just some patches of ci and cs.

Almost a repeat of yesterday but a little cooler (yesterdays max 16.7° at Bradninch)
