On tuesday the 21st Paul Hudson of looknorth fame showed a photo of
daffs in flower in a garden in yorkshire. As other resent years have
been milder than this I believed this to be a fake so I emailed him.
This is his reply:

"Our reporter has seen them for himself....i don't know what he has
used
but they are there and looked genuine enough to him. I have had 3
other
e-mails from viewers whose daffodils are in bud."

So is this in fact true. If so is it down to an early flowering
species or unusual environmental factors. Personally the daff shoots
have just shown in my garden and are about 2 weeks later than the last
few years. Please prove me or paul write.
