There was 14.1mm recorded in Teignmouth yesterday from the thunder storms,
according to official Met Station on the seafont. It doesn't sound much,
but it fell in a short space of time.

And I watched it all from my house where I get a good view of the Ness at
Shaldon on a clear day. Curtains of hail/rain falling down Teignmouth way
with flashes of lightning.
