Sounds as though their water guage is blocked. It might be worth reporting
that to them. I believe Martin Rowley noticed a similar anomaly with the
Hurn rain guage, and reported it.

Did that. Got this reply earlier.

"I am afraid the deluge of rain on Sunday afternoon caused the rainfall
sensor to become 'locked up'. It is now working normally, and the rainfall
total shown on the AWS page will be updated from the climatological record
tomorrow."

I keeping mum. The "deluge of rain on Sunday afternoon" produced 1.2mm here
in about 15 minutes. God help them if they ever get a thunderstorm.
