The Met Office text forecast seems to suggest continuous rain
throughout the weekend, except perhaps Saturday morning.

However during the majority of daylight hours on Saturday, the front
seems a bit far away and for the Southampton area my own assessment
based on the weather charts would be cloudy but dry.

Then by Sunday 1300, the cold front has cleared to what looks like
some extreme returning form of a Pm airmass, suggesting a showery
afternoon.

The persistent rain I would guess would be focused on the hours of
darkness Saturday into Sunday morning, say between 1900 BST on
Saturday to 1200 BST on Sunday by the looks of the Met Office charts.

Is this a reasonable assessment? Hope so as I do want to get out this
weekend...
