Default Heavy rain in NW Scotland: Lusa (Skye) 81 mm

Pershore, Coningsby, Brize Norton, Shoeburyness and St Helier (Jersey)
16.3°C, *Nottingham (Watnall), Holbeach and Wattisham 16.4°C, *Andrewsfield
16.5°C, *Marham 16.6°C, *Farnborough and Charlwood 16.7°C, *Exeter Airport
and Heathrow 17.3°C, *Gravesend (Broadness) 17.5°C, *London St James's Park
17.6°C, *Northolt 17.8°C.

So temperatures typically 16-17C, and weather conditions in southern
England were a mix of sunny and cloudy
(due to Sc spread-out) conditions. Very average indeed for the time of
year, but felt positively wonderful!
The same conditions would doubtless feel disappointingly cool in a
warm May - amazing what you can become
habituated to.
