Default Pennine Snow Patches 2011-2012

More "brief covering from passing showers" this morning on Cross Fell
top 100 or so feet very white. It's very overcast and cool 5C with a
F4 F4 NNE'ly so this may remain for more than a few hours. GDF has
just got above 0C in the last couple of hours.

Overall the season has been fairly poor compared with recent years ...


Almost a "no snow winter", the only memorable amount was mid December
or there abouts when we got 6" or so that hung about for a few days.
