What is it exactly that stirs such comments from you? I've never seen
derogatory remarks on here about folks living in the North by us friendly
Southerners yet the reverse is all too common.

Thta's because us northerners have a huge chip on our shoulder :-)

As for the weather, I have collected 76mm from this depression, monthly
total 130.3mm. Could end up my wettest June since I came here.

Folk on Dartmoor don't worry though being tough hill folk SW'erners.
