But that's what he said at midday today. No sign of anything summery for
the next two weeks. A bit rash in my opinion because it doesn't take
much of a change at this time of year to get something half decent. He
also said that somewhere in and around the S.E and south Midlands was
likely to get a month's worth of rain tomorrow. Presumably he meant
based on June's figures which is about 45mm. We'll see.

I have just watched the Countryfile forecast. Low pressure all week,
fronts and winds coming from the far north (off the top of the chart
in fact). If anyone can construct a worse synoptic chart for summer
that is realistic, I'd like to see it.

Lol, I'm curious as to what it would be like if we had this setup in
January or February. Would it be cold enough for all this precipitation
we've had over the last two weeks to fall as widespread snow? If so, can
you imagine the disruption that would follow.
