Humph. Didn't get the washing out, didn't cut the lawns, and the nearest I
got to a suntan was a nasty scald off the kettle while making some soup.
I do wish the forecasters wouldn't generalise like that. After all, what is
a normal month's rain in this country, apart from ruddy wet when it gets out
of hand?
