Default [WR] Motherwell, and Glencoe

Merry Christmas.
Yesterday evenings snow has survived a partial thaw last night and has
been dusted by a couple of very brief light snow showers this morning in
Motherwell.
Definetly not the picture postcard scene here that my sister was
describing on the telephone this morning from North Ballachulish (Glencoe,
near Ft William).
She tells me they have 8 inches to a foot of snow, with roads
closed/impassible in a perfectly serene landscape. And all this only a few
feet above sea (loch) level. She hopes to do a bit of skiing before lunch.
I might have a slight white Xmas of my own, but I sure wish I had spent
Xmas at my sisters.
Alex.

My sister isn't online to share images of her winter wonderland, but here
is the scene at the top of the glen (Glencoe).

And it seems, the camera is below the snow level (in a manner of speaking
lol.)
