According to my radar Edinburgh has had some thunderstorms today and

On this note are there any good, free lightning detection sites that
have a good coverage of the Edinburgh area? I'm currently using

which is fine (it's free after all) but I was wondering if there were
alternatives.

Coverage for your area may not be perfect as stations are a bit sparse
there. They provide equipment at cost for anyone wanting to join the
network.
