Was between home and Carlisle quite a bit of water about, fair bit of
lightening and the MW radio tuned between stations was giving a crackle at
least very 5 seconds. Black Burn at Midgeholme was a raging torrent on the
way back, I think the channel will have moved again instead of taking the
wide sweep that it erroded into the bank in the flash flood of 2007, I expect
it will be coming straight across leaving an ox bow lake.
