Default Rain, wot Rain?

Hi,
well as the local? BBC forecasters keep telling us, its gonna Rain

this weekend.
First it was Saturday pm, then Sunday pm.
It is now 16.45 and there is no sign of rain at all, just more sunshine,

as the
temperature reached 20C here today.
Cheers
Bob H

Well Bob, I hate to say of the met office "not often right, but wrong
again".
Confirming a beautiful day in Leeds, 21.6C here, and sunny most of the day.
Never heard so many people say in general conversation today how hopeless
the weather forecasters are in Britain. I was put off going to Derbyshire
today by the dismal forecast yesterday and the preceding days, I should have
known better. A post earlier in the week asked what time the rain would
arrive today, as he was having an outside event around noon, forget who it
was but I nearly posted back saying " as rain if promised, heavy and wind
too, it will probably be sunny and warm. And of course it was.

Perhaps a few apologies are in order from the men with the multi million
pound [tax payers money] computers. If a manager/team in other industry got
it so wrong they would probably be fired. I have lost count this summer with
the number of times the forecast, sometimes for only a few hours ahead, has
been utterly wrong.

Regards
BrianT [South Leeds] Still 19.8C, very dry with lots of evening sunshine.
