Thunder here at 1252Z with a short heavy shower. This is the fourth
day out of the last five that has had thunder, three of them showery-
type, one frontal/cyclonic.
In 2010/11 there were only 9 days of thunder here (mean for 2
years 32) and only one in July. Things are returning to normal though
perhaps at a price.
