Default Poor growing conditions, except grass!

Away to re-erect the bean poles now, just three snapped so far, and cut

loving it.

It was looking dire here too regarding the 'veg', though the runners
have done well as usual. And surprisingly, the toms are going well
despite being flooded a couple of weekends ago.

The generally sunny and warmer weather we've had since the 15th has made
a big difference though. I thought the aubergines and chillies were
going to be a write off but they've picked up quite dramatically
recently, and are now flowering with a few fruits coming too.

Unbroken sunshine here again today, third superb day in a row. Rather
unusual for this summer so far.

Sunshine for this month passed the 100 hours mark this afternoon, so
this month should beat June's sunshine.
