This summer just gets worse.
Incessant rain and now tropical humidity.

A lot of cloud around (quite low) with sunny breaks.
But dewpoint is +19.1C and temp. is +19.6C giving a wet-bulb of +19.3C.
I hate this sort of weather as nothing dries. The patio remains wet in
the shade and the grass is sodden. You cannot do any work outside
without breaking into a sweat. Going for a walk is no good for same
sweaty reason. It encourages laziness :-(
I suppose I could go down to the beach for a swim but at this time of
year it is teeming with people and I prefer more solitude.

Roll on Winter!
I'm utterly fed up with summer already.

If you think it's hot where you are, you should try coming over this
direction. I can assure you you would not want to be living in
Sussex/Surrey at the moment. :-)
