This afternoon I was at the League 2 football match between Wycombe
Wanderers and Bristol Rovers. After about ten minutes of the second
half a heavy thunderstorm broke overhead with frequent lightning and
torrential rain.

I was up in the City of London this afternoon and we had a corker of a
storm. At least 5 strikes within a km - one of which hit Cannon Street
station, apparently. One was practically overhead and through a gap between
buildings I saw two CG strikes. Gusty winds and tropical rain. A joy!
