Still, today 26th has dawned sunny and promises to be a glorious day

this morning with the sea beyond!
It will also be my first day out of my home environment since last
Sunday, so I'm looking forward to walking a few miles at a gentle pace
to help recovery.

We had some short bursts of torrential rain here in Horsham, but no
thunder. There was a line of intense precipitation on the Met Office
radar mid afternoon heading this way but it seemed to fizzle when it got
within about 30 miles of here.
