Once again a lot of thunderstorms around up country on Saturday but what
do we get here on Dartmoor - just heavy rain and no thunder. I hadn't
realised how very rare thunder is down here until moving here. It is
quite amazing really.

Still, today 26th has dawned sunny and promises to be a glorious day
with excellent visibility, Shaldon, the Ness, were glinting in the sun
this morning with the sea beyond!
It will also be my first day out of my home environment since last
Sunday, so I'm looking forward to walking a few miles at a gentle pace
to help recovery.

Onward and upward :-)

We had some short bursts of torrential rain here in Horsham, but no
thunder. There was a line of intense precipitation on the Met Office
radar mid afternoon heading this way but it seemed to fizzle when it got
within about 30 miles of here.
