Minimum of +9.0c here in Sub-Tropical Teignmouth, kept warm by the lukewarm bath of Lyme Bay.
Min of 10.3C in Penzance, easily the lowest this month.
With sunshine 17.1C at 10:45. Pz Heliport (available on XCWeathwer) also showing 17C by 10:20. Warmer than at this time yesterday and we appear to be currently the warmest part of the UK, a sure sign of Autumn! The milder air appears to be making itself felt now.
The warmth of the sea which surrounds west Cornwall (17C currently) at this time of year means my lowest ever August Max is 16.4C. Yesterday was chilly though with a max of only 16.8C, not far off the record.

We had a min of 3.1c this morning, though with my Beech tree in full
leaf, would have been a fair bit lower where more exposed. Was still a
fair breeze for much of the night as well.
This followed yesterday where the 13mm of rain beat the day max of
12.6c.
