I'm really surprised that as of 1715 a red warning has not been issued for
NE England given the current disruption, time of day and the present radar
imagery.

Hi, Will,
Not really surprising given our location, bring back the weather centres.
Event total now 100.7mm here.

All those cars stranded on a major trunk road, eg, I would have thought
merited a red, plus also it is still raining hard and rivers are still
rising. Yes bring back the Weather Centres that were abolished in 2006 as a
petty cost cutting measure.
