Isn't the fun all over by now? Last night was a bit excitable wind-wise
but only 13.7mm of rain overnight. There was an amber warning according
to the tv.
No it isn't. The main band of rain has been sat over northern England
all day, it doesn't seem to be moving at all. This is dumping a
significant amount of rain on top of ground saturated by yesterdays
significant accumulations.
You an I are well removed from that main rain band. Been a sunshine and
showers day here in Surrey.
