Mind you for us it may only be half an event, as the low pressure
returns south and gives us another soaking late tomorrow into
Wednesday.

UKMO said we were likely to have totals of 60 mm, which I am sure
occurred at some locations.

The vast majority of rain actually fell conveniently within
that arbitary 0900-0900Z period in Romsey with a total
of 28.2mm. The overall total thus far in association with
this depression is 'only' 34.8mm which includes 2.6mm
falling in showers today.
