Tideswell, Derbyshire - Wednesday 26th September 2012

0530z ENE F3 2000 RA BR 8St004 08.6/08.6 988
RMK: A filthy morning. There's been continuous slight to moderate rain
for the past 28 hours and still some more to come.

0900z ENE F2 1500 -RA BR 6St002 8St005 08.8/08.8 991
RMK: ......and so it goes on! Continuous slt/mod rain for the past 31 hours
and still some more to come. A total of 71 mm since the event began
on Sunday afternoon. Nowhere near as much as some have had but it's
pretty soggy now. It seems that there's only some nuisance flooding
on the roads locally and nothing like the problems some unfortunate
people are having to cope with in other parts of the country.

1700z NNE F2 20km 2Cu007 7Sc040 10.4/10.2 996
RMK: Rain finally fizzled out by late morning. It was dry for a while but
there were a couple of short sharp showers between 11500 and 1600z.
There's even been one or two patches of blue sky but none in the right
place to give any sunshine. Max temp 12.4
