Did you know......................?
Every Saturday so far this autumn in Coventry *has been dry and sunny,
with an average of 7.8 hours of sunshine on each day, compared to an
expected 4.4 hours per day at this time of year.
Looking forward to the next one!

Hoping it continues as I've got an outdoor event next Saturday.
In fact if all rain can fall between sunset and midnight during
weekdays, that would be nice :-)
The last three days have brought home the vagaries of the northwestern
European autumn, lovely when the sun shines (Saturday in particular,
Sunday to some extent) but unbelievably depressing when the weather's
poor (this morning)

Just got back from a long weekend abroad.
First to the Midlands and then on to the arid east.
Threw it down most nights but lovely sunny chilly autumn days.
Did not look very arid to me. Standing water on some of the parkland
fields in Cambs and N. Essex.
Wimpole Hall, Anglesey Abbey, and Audley End.
Back in Devon now in coast fog and drizzle.
Well, you can't have it all.
