Well Bob, I hate to say of the met office "not often right, but wrong
again".
Confirming a beautiful day in Leeds, 21.6C here, and sunny most of the day.
Never heard so many people say in general conversation today how hopeless
the weather forecasters are in Britain. I was put off going to Derbyshire
today by the dismal forecast yesterday and the preceding days, I should have
known better. A post earlier in the week asked what time the rain would
arrive today, as he was having an outside event around noon, forget who it
was but I nearly posted back saying " as rain if promised, heavy and wind
too, it will probably be sunny and warm. And of course it was.

BrianT [South Leeds] Still 19.8C, very dry with lots of evening sunshine.

Hi Brian and others.
Well on Monday at 17.30 we still have not had any rain at all, althought
it was spotting at approx 16.30. That lasted for about 5 mins.
Oh well, someday perhaps. The hose will have to come out yet again.
