[OBS] Romsey - Thursday 22nd November 2012
It's a long while since I've placed an observation on here, so to
make up for lost time, I shall post a few today.
A cloudy start with outbreaks of slight rain, dying out by 0845Z.
Since then it's been increasingly sunny but increasingly windy,
the highest gusts of 36kt occurring at both 1047Z and 1135Z.
Workmen are laying long sections of gas pipes in our road but
already, half a dozen of their barricades have blown over like
skittles. It will be interesting to see how many are left standing
at the end of the day, assuming they're not righted.
The lower Sc layer has evolved into turbulent Cu. Small amounts
of Ac and Ci are visible above.
