What's so wonderful about snow, anyway? The present situation is very interesting, with the threat of more heavy rain, strong winds and low pressure and an unusual track for the forthcoming Low. I don't think the SE will get a tremendous deluge, the heaviest rain being just to the west and north of the centre and the Midlands and SW are going to get more than they need again, you could say. This is typical cyclonic November weather and worthy of attention in itself. Fixation on snow is a bit childish.
