Amidst all this rain ,the group should be hanging out the flags

the 20th there was a longish thread regarding the impending cold

What's so wonderful about snow, anyway?

It makes for some very pretty landscapes, and there is something
pleasurable about the crunch crunch crunch under my feet. These days,
IMO, this doesn't compensate for its disruptive nature therefore I tend
to err on the side of hoping for no significant snow.

The only good thing about snow is that I can actually see the dog when I
take her out in the evening. Otherwise, everything about the damned
stuff is negative.
