I suppose that the area they've marked up just north of Cardiff is around 250m or higher, but if you do that then why not highlight Exmoor?

Obviously giving a snow level may not have clarified the warning but it might help the public gauge the severity by saying "rain near the coast, 2 to 5 cms inland but 15 to 25 cms on any higher ground above 250m"

I do hope that the "Be Aware" colour the Met Office use in their alerts is custard rather than of the egg-yolk kind...
