Listening to BBC Radio Solent where people are ringing in with snow
depths, then generally away from the immediate coastal strip the figures
are coming in between 5 and 10 cm, but some reports well inland of
around 15 cm. Traffic variable - but light - a lot of people have
obviously taken the day off - but even so Police are advising of poor
conditions on even the 'major' east/west routes, especially on slip
roads, e.g., M27 west of Southampton. Isle of Wight appears to be bad too.

My son lives in Westbourne and has been trying to get to work in Poole.
He's texted to say that his bus has taken 3/4 hour to do the first mile!
