-0.1°C here now, the frost will be thawing soon.
Unusually, it was below frezing all day in Ilford in east London, where I work, and went down on the fairly accurate car thermometer, from -1C to -3C as I made my way home past Stapleford Abbots, before rising again to -1.5C when I got home an hour ago.
It's now -1.3C here, (we're 70m asl) and rising slowly, but I have doubts it'll get above freezing tonight. We've had sub-zero for the past 24 hrs since 18:00 last night and it's snowing slightly still.

Hi Tom,
last night at 1am I hit +0.8°C and here in the last 20 minutes just hit +0.1°C after being below freezing all day. Sometimes this happens prior to precipitation, we'll see? Looking at temperatures on the near continent there only a couple of degrees below me, so if the wind slows the heat of the north sea will have more effect. Sunday's event I feel will be rain and sleet currently.
