Dennis, that's exactly how it started with me and you won't be able to ignore them. Leave now would be my advice and don't post again, unless there's a good reason. Hughes and others like to make up stories about people who don't fit their idea of how people should act and be and that's fine, but don't lie, Hughes and moderate your foul language would be good advice for you to follow. I never regret finding out exactly what people like you are like.
I "left" for very different reasons - it just got boring, with same things trotted out week after week and any deviation from that, though the number of posts and post views were far higher in the threads of interest, drew the same incredibly boring and predictable reaction from some old people, who I realised I just don't like and are not worth spending time discussing anything with; so I didn't any more.
Things move on and so do newsgroups. Good luck to those who I got on with, but I know from your emails that you feel the newsgroup lacks a great deal now and the fall in the number of contributions reflects that - like it, or not, dear vultures. Some of you won't read this post, as you've left, I know. It's mainly a list of weather reports (excellent though, Colin and Darren - two reasons why I still visit and thank you both) and one far right-wing old nutcase. Like I said, I have no regrets leaving others - although one actually followed me and stalks me elsewhere! That's really very flattering and about as scary as being stalked by a dead sheep. *))
