RMK: Snow started around 2030z yesterday evening and has probably
been continuous since then. Something like 22cm lying snow.

0900z ENE F2-3 0700 SN 8St003 -01.3/-01.3 992
RMK: The snow eased off to slight for a while but it's been back to
moderate for the past half hour. Approx 25cm lying snow.
09-09z: Tx -0.3 (1235z) Tn -1.8 (0435z) RR 10.0 (estimated)
15-09z: Tg -2.7 (under snow - took a couple of minutes to find
thermometer!)
00-24z: Sun nil

1700z SE F2 2000 -SG BR 8St003 -02.2/-02.2 994
RMK: Snow became very slight by 1000z and died out soon after
midday. Through the afternoon there's been occasional very
slight flurries of snow grains and also some freezing
drizzle but it hasn't amounted to anything. 22cm lying snow.
The snowplough drivers have been doing sterling work and
have even kept most of the minor roads open. Max temp -1.0
