Why is everyone going on about snow, we had some on Friday, gone by

Much the same here on Holy Island. Whilst the rest of Northumberland
seems to have ground to a halt, we just get on with life despite strong
winds and sleet. I must admit to feeling a bit jealous though when I
see all the snow on the hills on the mainland and, when visibility
permits, The Cheviots!
