Before anyone shoots me down I know December 2010 didn't comply ,but that
was one of our coldest on record ,I'm talking normal winters.

A large area seems to have had snowfall of 10 cms or more this spell but
few have had vey cold weather, especially at night. Notably lacking has
been lack of strong winds so no blizzards and very few blue skies.
Otherwise bog standard really.
