I thought his prophesiessic were that the cold wasn't going to go away
in the first place. Anyway, I can't imagine anyone doubts that the cold
will return. My dog could predict that!

Could I suggest that at your next meeting, that you ask him if the sun
will rise tomorrow. I have a feeling he will be gushing forth a suitable
prophecy to cover the eventuality.

If you are feeling a little bit wicked though, you could tell him that
MetO have already predicted that the sun /will/ rise first, and then ask
him what his predictions are.
