Default Remarkable Offer for St. Piers

Jim, Can you pass this message on to the supreme overlord...

The good people of Suffolk, recognising the peerless (and peerlessly reviewed) expertise of the ultimate weather guru, St. Piers of Modest Hamlet would like to offer him a free trip to the Sun to see the physics behind his awesome forecasts in person.

The once in a lifetime trip courtesy of the Southwold Society departs on April 1st. The good ship Southwold Society Wayfarer (SSW) departs from Gun Hill, where it will be launched into space by the JIM (Joint Internationally Managed) Cannon. Rapidly accelerated by an ingenious mixture of hot air and blather, SSW will sweep majestically towards its final destination.

Due to the excellence of the Weatheraction solar forecasts, there will be no need for radiation shields on the trip as all hazards will be safely avoided by careful planning.

Some naysayers have argued that the Sun will be too hot to land on, but what do these fools know? Weatheraction have proved that the sun is the direct source of all blizzard activity, so we can be pretty sure that the surface will be rather cold. However, just to make doubly sure, we propose to land St. Piers at night.
