Default Heavy snow Fri into Saturday?

Almost. There looks like being one low that runs along the channel, and one

that runs over northern UK. The southern one has a question mark over its

depth - but it is looking as if it will deepen quite quickly when it gets

going. If it is well developed as it runs up the channel it may well

entrain sufficiently cold air to produce snow on its northern edge.

A lot of ifs and buts, but these should reduce as the event nears.

I have yet to read dire warnings of 100ft drifts and temperatures of -20C, in the Daily Express, so can I presume tomorrow's blizzards have been cancelled?
