I console myself with the facts that you have no decent football and
cricket down there and Copley is drier!
LOL
Yeah football is crap here. Also a long way from the "theatre of dreams" :-(
Local cricket is good though, real villagey stuff, good ale, great scenery
(of all types :-)) and if you want cold you can get it on the moors. It's
also lovely and quiet.
I still want to move back up north though, closer to my roots, could I still
buy Lead Mill or have prices gone up recently :-)
Hi, Will,
There are only four houses at the Lead Mill, but as they enter their 36th
day with full snow cover this winter and no sun since mid October, there
would not be a lot of demand from locals to live there if any came up for
sale!
Cricket - I was meaning Yorkshire / Durham standard and football - Allez le
Toon, apart from the wonderful "Bishops" (;0)
enjoy your 630 mile coast walk. Anyway, I think you've done our coast to
coast and didn't come to see me!
It's just the winter cold I get tired of these days, summer's usually good
here (but not always!).
