Spring has sprung here in Teignmouth, I spotted my first daffodils this
year in full bloom this afternoon at the side of the road.


No sign of Spring yet on Dartmoor, just 12 miles from you. In fact the
opposite with 4C, rain and fog all day today. I have snowdrops in bud but
the grass is still stopped and yellow and nothing is growing at all, apart
from a few sheltered early primroses. Bulbs are still under ground. The
weekend sun may help a bit but it looks like turning colder again next week,
so Spring on hold up here. No problem, plenty of time yet for Spring when it
should be, in March-April.
