Indeed. And I imagine that the MO is required by the NHS to put out
these "cold weather" warnings, so that is where the blame - if you think
blame is appropriate - should go.
I was expecting Lawrence to be pleased that the MO (quite rightly)
hasn't put out any of their own yellow, orange or red warnings for snow
or ice.

As I hoped I'd managed to explain above, the cold weather warnings that
they put out at the behest of the NHS are completely distinct from the
warnings that they put out of possible hazards from snow or ice (or wind
or fog).
