Default [OBS] Romsey - Saturday 23rd February 2013

This is the eighth day of the month to have recorded sleet or snow
falling which is more than our quota for an entire year but none has
settled.

Slight snow has been falling in the form of small flakes on and off
during the morning, although developing Cu mediocris cloud in the
last hour is producing a few larger ones together with snow pellets
1110-1120Z and 1145Z to present. Those pellets that land on my
car, roll off and crush onto the driveway. No effect on surfaces
and minimal on visibility.

A bitterly cold NNE'ly wind, though a number of sunny intervals
recently.
