Well-broken cloud with sunshine in Scotland and northern England. Much
more cloudy over the rest of England and Wales and Ireland but brighter in
central southern and SE England. Thick cloud over most of the Low
Countries but brightening towards the Belgian coast.

and more or less dies out by early on Wednesday morning. A narrow band of
showers develops across the Midlands and SE England in the afternoon.
