Alan, the charts next week are truly amazing. The polar jet is running well
south into North Africa the Atlantic is coming well and truly blocked with
deep cold becoming established over a lot of Europe. If this comes to
fruition, and as you say ensembles are pretty solid now for the onset at
least, this could well be a really special event. The downside for many is
that Spring could be set back for weeks, especially in northern Europe.
