Monday could be interesting for southern England ..

southern England. Low slipping across northern France - cold (very cold
for this time of year) air cutting in out of the ENE .... PPN envelope

In the past though, models have tended to consistently back off such
threats and there is always the problem of how much influence the drier
lower tropospheric air erodes the PPN area .... still .... keeps us on

Everything always seems uncertain with run ups to cold spells. Just a
few days ago none of this heavy rain in the South was forecast so I
guess next Monday is a long way off!
