RMK: A bleak mid-winter morning! 2cm lying snow. There's a
little drifting but there's not enought snow on the ground for it
to be a problem.

0900z ENE F45 10km RE-SHSN 6Cu010 -03.3/-05.4 1013
RMK: A rather cloudy morning so far with ocnl slight snow showers.
Also a few sunny intervals. 3cm powder snow on the ground, blowing
about a bit but there's not enough snow or enough wind for it
to be a problem.

1730z ENE F5 20km RE-SHSN 3Cu018 -03.2/-07.0 1013
RMK: Fairly frequent snow showers through the day. Often slight
but on several occasions very heavy for a few minutes with vis down
to about 100m with a lot of blowing snow. There's no "level depth" but
the fall looks to be equivalent to something like 3-4 cm. Outside the village,
where the snow has been blowing off the fields, there's drifts to
1 metre and more. The roads are mostly clear except where snow
is drifting across them through gates and the like. There's been
a biting wind all day. Max temp -1.0
