.... all rain here (up to 17/0920Z), and a lot of it! In the 24 hours to
09Z = 17.8 mm, and in the previous 24 hr, 25.0 mm, so 42.8 mm in 48
hours, roughly 65% of our eLTA 1981-2010.

Ground absolutely saturated - all local tributary streams etc.,
fast-flowing and high and we really don't want much more. These
organised convective/cellular clusters are tucked away in the axis of
the trough which isn't exactly moving very fast.
